Once upon a time…

There was a young man who had become smitten with the most amazing woman he ever set eyes on. The young man was a mighty monster hunter and the woman… she too had an interesting backstory that will someday be told. In no time at all, the young man and woman fell in love and together they started a family.

The young man put aside his monster hunting to focus on his wife and children, and he was happy. The woman also put aside her mysterious past to focus on being a mother and wife, and she did so tirelessly. For more than a decade they were happy, but then tragedy struck.

The man thought it was his past as a monster hunter that had finally caught up with him, and the woman too blamed her past transgressions. Regardless of the reason, the woman was taken from the man and their three daughters. Death came in the form of an evil witch—not unlike those found in animated movies—knocking on their door and delivering her judgment through a spell which caused the woman to die immediately.

Heartbroken, the man raged and swore vengeance. He took up arms and effortlessly returned to his monster hunter ways. Rooting out, and eliminating, witches and their familiars became his obsession but no monster caught in his sights was safe. At first, the man hunted with his best friend Billy, but as time passed, he began training his oldest daughter, Alexis, in the ways of the hunt. Despite her youth and innocence, Alexis quickly became a proficient monster hunter and the duo eliminated many dark threats to humanity that the news channels would never report on.

They are the Sweetwaters and this is but one of many of their adventures…
